Holidays

I love christmas. It is my very favorite holiday! We got our christmas tree put up when my grandma was here and it was so much fun. It looks so pretty and im pleased that maggie doesnt try to climb it..

I hate to complain but christmas season just seems to not have hit me that hard.. its weird without the snow. We both miss the snow terribly and its so bizzare that it is December and we are still seeing 70 degrees weather, or rain. Its just not the same as being back home. Especially not the same without family and planning to get together for christmas partys and to visit and eat good food. I am so thankful for one thing this year and its being with Thayn. We have been together for a few of our holidays but not all. Its hard dating a man in the military, he was gone a lot and i know that isnt his fault. I know he would have been home for everything if he could. I am just so glad that we are together being able to set up our tree, decorating it, baking goodies together, buying gifts that we dont have to send over seas. Its going to be a wonderful christmas even if there isnt snow. Next year we will be home though and it will be perfect, we will have a little boy to spend christmas with and that will be simply amazing. We both miss home and wish we were going to be there this holiday but we are thankful we are together and it will be a holly jolly christmas !
