The title of the blog post makes sense i promise..


So i am pretty bad at updating this blog of mine. So i thought today i would sit down and write some new stuff going on with us.

This past weekend i was very excited to go on date night with the hubby. We went and seen Charlie St. Cloud with some friends and it was soooo good! It's definatly a must see! Then we went and seen Grown Ups together Thayn loved it. He laughed and laughed haha it was pretty cute i like it. After we went to the movies we ran by the PX just to look around and i found the cutest curtains for the living room! I was so happy! Curtains remind me of my mommy. When i was little we always had curtains and it made our house feel more like a home. I was a little nervous that the curtains would look weird since they are different colors but they look AWESOME! Thayn and I also took a trip to Ross too. Oh my goodness i could live in that store they always have the cutest stuff!! I got a really cute vase and some dried weeds and it matches the living room perfect! I am so happy to get more decorations and make our home look so cute! I have a friends baby shower at my house this weekend and it makes me feel good to have a cute home for people to come over and see!








This week our apartment building is getting painted! Our apatment was white before they painted it and now its a gray/purple color! The white showed a lot of the red dirt and stuff so i dont mind color at all. I like change and to be honest its the best color out of all the colors they paint the units out here.. some are like a puke green color and some are like a tan/orange color.. anyways, the title of this blog is that when they came this morning to paint they had to cover all the windows and cars in the parking stalls so they wouldnt get paint on them. yadda yadda..
I was in the living room putting pictures in frames and i heard this one man singing " O beautiful for spacious skies, For amber waves of grain, For purple mountain majesties Above the fruited plain! America! America! God shed his grace on thee" I about died laughing, oh man it made me laugh so hard! Im sure he heard me laughing and i felt so bad! I was praying that they would cover our windows still even after making fun of him and they did! whew. haha!

Well im sure that was boring, but it made me laugh!!

now im off to watch saved by the bell. ;)
