Softball & house fires!

This past week has been a blast! Thayn had an Org day for his company and they had sporting events like softball & football and T wanted to play softball but he had never played before. so monday we went out and bought a cheap o bat and a ball ( with the little cash we had ) and decided we were going to practice. We got the neighbors and some of Thayn's friends to come play we had played every night this week so T could be ready for Friday.. which was today. He did so well though i was so proud of him! I feel like a proud mama! haha. Softball is my game. I used to eat,sleep, and breathe softball. I missed it so much so it made my whole week being able to go out and hit that ball! I was a little rusty but its all good in the hood.. haha. I just enjoyed hitting that ball like i used too!

Org day was pretty dang good. All though Thayns platoon didn't win much he had a blast playing and feeling good about it all! I had sat out in the sun all day so i am pretty much burnt to a crisp. Ouch. Lol It hurst pretty bad, i have this awesome tan line where my sun glasses were on my face its hot :0)


Then this evening i was sitting out back with Thayn and Cait called me and chaz's neighbor's house started on fire! It has spread to his house and was really spreading quick. It was really awesome that the fire department got there as soon as they did and took care of it! It was really scary but we are glad no one got hurt. It was amazing to see all the support they got. They are all staying with Thayn and I and im really happy bout that! I love having guests!


It has been a good, crazy, sun burnin day. But not we are all safe and sound.. im going to bed!! Goodnight!
